BEC staff has also advised state and local governments regarding affirmative action programs and have conducted numerous disparity studies. In addition, we have studied the impacts of work force reductions on employment diversity and the economic impacts of plant closures. We have also calculated economic losses associated with discrimination claims regarding race, gender, and age.
